Your Ceremony

It is so important to make sure you have the right celebrant for your ceremony. They will help set the tone for your whole celebration.

Wedding Ceremonies

Initial Meeting

We will meet with you, obligation free, to discuss the process of marriage in Australia and what you want for your ceremony.
This can be done in person or over Skype.

Notice of Intended Marriage

In Australia, a form called the Notice of Intended Marriage must be completed and lodged with your officiant no later than one month before your intended marriage date.
Once you've booked with one of us, we will organise a time to meet and complete this form.
You will need to bring with you original proof of date and place of birth, as well as photo ID and any documents of dissolution of previous marriages.

Ceremony Creation

We love to create ceremonies that are representative of our couples. Whether you'd prefer to keep your ceremony short and sweet, or add a little creative flare, we look forward to working with you to make your ceremony perfect for you.

Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage & Rehearsal

Its a great idea to have a rehearsal or 'walk through' of your ceremony. This can be with your whole bridal party, or just the celebrant, bride and groom. Doing a walk through will help put your mind at ease on the order of the ceremony, and help answer any last minute questions.

At this time, we will also sign the Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage - this is essentially a statutory declaration that must be signed before your wedding ceremony.

Get Married!

On your ceremony day, we will officiate your ceremony, manage all legal paperwork and lodge with Births, Deaths & Marriages.

If you have decided to order your Official Marriage Certificate from the BDM, we will arrange for this to be delivered to you too.

Any Questions?

Whether its for a wedding ceremony or a baby naming, we're always happy to have a chat to discuss your plans.
